I want nothing more than to be able to draw and sketch well, last night I decided to buy a sketch pad, pencils, and sharpener and try to teach myself to draw. This took well over an hour of focusing on each line and it still didn't come out as I wanted and its probably the best I've done. I can picture how I want to draw something and how I would go about it in my head, how it would look in 2d on paper just fine but there's some big disconnect from my brain and my hand. I wish I had used high school and middle school to learn how to draw so I could have all my bad artwork there instead of being in college and drawing at a middle school level...
