I made it pretty big (for my standards) with plain art without animations and games.
Literally all you have to do is promote yourself by creating as much exposure as possible. You can achieve this by posting almost every day on socials and having at least decent art.
Hard work is what pays off, not trying to come up with a way to work as little as possible.
