Aaah I understand now. Well, the body here plays an important part, because the guy actually has his head titlted upward, while his body seems to turn away from the camera. In your drawing the direction of your character's back gives off the impression that his head is not tilted. You can see in the picture that the back of the head and the back form an angle.
