>cleaning house to feel productive
>find a box with sister's name and "COLLEGE SUPPLES"
>open just because
>half used pencils, colored pencils and shitty erasers
>underneath it all an older looking light box
>immediately think I can use it to make a clean traditional drawing for DAD
>get a quick sketch out, nothing special but new medium
>spent a solid hour getting a sketch that would look cute once lined
>get nice tape, thicker multi media paper, the whole shebang
>feeling proud of myself and I grab the lightbox and plug her in
>flip the switch to turn on
>no light comes on, and the light inside me turns off
feels good to kill my hour long motivation high like this, my own fault for not testing it before but now I can't even muster the courage to finish the sketch i started. I wanted to play with some mediums and now I feel like time was wasted
