Learning where to use soft and hard edges. Generally soft edges happen on softer plane breaks, hard edges on harsher ones.
Also using reflective light, makes everything in the piece feel like it belongs together (see: the blues on the underside of the cheek). Someone with hair that blue isn't gonna have no blue tones on their face.
