Like all eras of art history, there are good things and bad things, but overall both have great works.

There's an irrational hate against post-modern art here but anons can't forget that the post-modernists are the ones that looked back, that wanted to bring back old forgotten art. The modernists were the ones that only looked forward and disregarded all traditional art, that being said most of my favorite paintings are from modernists.
