Another concern still with that picture is you've started to detail before getting the foundation in. If you pencil in the legs and suddenly decide the upper body doesn't suit, you're going to have to erase or start over entirely.

In future it's probably worth trying to lay in the basic figure entirely first before any basic details (see attached)
