Can anyone help me with side planes of the head and eye socket placement? Picrel is example of what my issue is. I've been through Loomis, Huston, and currently working on Hampton, and none have really clarified it.

Okay, so in both examples, I've got the basic sphere of the head drawn and the "T" of the face in the perspective I want the head.

On the left, I've drawn the side plane such that it appears proportional with the T of the face and is in the correct perspective. However after drawing the keystone and eye sockets, I can already tell the closest eye socket is WAY too fucking wide.

On the right, I have tried to "correct" this by widening out the side plane of the head. The side plane now looks "wrong" to me. The eye socket now looks to be the correct size, however I can already tell that if I finish the face, the facial features will all be smooshed way too far over on the side of the head, and the face itself will seem too small and completely out of alignment with the rest of the head.

How do I reconcile this? What am I missing or misunderstanding here?
