Right?? I see people valuing beginners' passion more than rewarding them for improving, and that's what this attitude gets you. An entire platform of shitty "mangas" from kids.
This is what happens when you put passion over hard work, and devalue hard work because practicing hard is "from a time that is long past".
But I'm going on a tangent here.
