Wacom's branding is fucking retarded and (probably intentionally) confusing.

There are various Intuos tablets. They used to be their mid-higher end, but now they've also rebranded their lower end tablets to be called intuos.
Assuming you mean these, they're good to start with. Just don't cheap out and get a small. Get at least a medium.

A step up from them is the Intuos Pro, which has twice the pen sensitivity. Depending on who you ask that's an incredible upgrade or practically worthless, a lot depends on what you do.

it's the new wacom intuos, which is what the wacom bamboo used to be. same thing different name

scummy intuos calls the 'bamboo' the 'intuos' now and the 'intuos' the 'intuos pro.' probably going to replace it soon it's a pretty shitty tablet but i bought it on a budget at the time

it steps like a motherfucker you're better off just putting the extra cash down on what they're calling the intuos pro now

I'm currently learning drawing, wanting to eventually be able to draw decent characters and make shitty webcomics. So I bought the cheapest pen tablet I could find - the Intuos Small Pen Tablet, thinking that I would need to do digital drawing anyways to reach my webcomic goal.

I've been trying to use this thing for weeks now, and it's impossible. I am restricted to drawing with my wrist, I can't see where my hand is drawing like I can with pen and paper, and the pen is fat and clumsy.

My questions to you are; do you have any tips for drawing on a pen tablet? What is your process when you do digital drawing? I can't draw like this - not seeing where I have my hand relative to the drawing. I know the most expensive drawing tablets let you see the drawing on the tablet surface itself, but I cannot afford that. So are there any legit drawing programs on the iPad that I could use for simple webcomic stuff? An iPad would also be an upgrade in terms of tablet size, so that'd be great.

hey
I decided to buy a tablet after several years. I'm okay with drawing but dont have experience with tablets but I'm rather poor.
I was thinking on buying a small Wacom CTL-480S-ENES Intuos Pen
I'm asking for your oppinion if you had experience with tablets like this. do you recommend it as a starter tablet or would you recommend something with a similar pricing?
