>looking up vague statistics of 'stem jobs'
lol. Those numbers are generalized across all stem jobs (which are in the thousands). A starting radiologist fresh out of med school makes the same amount of money you fantasize about.

>what's your point?
That's you seem to be inhumanly driven by money, and that you're putting all your eggs in one basket. Nothing in life is a 100% guarantee. Just keep in mind if the Dinsey gig doesn't work out for you, you're fucked.

>drawing as a hobby is still a waste of time
Then by your logic I can say you're wasting your time attempting to become "bigshot funny cartoon guy" when you can realistically make more money doing something actually beneficial to society.

I can even say you're wasting your time by not bettering yourself personally, like maybe try going into academics and helping society through jobs that require actual intellect.
See how two can play at your silly game.

>I know they pay bonkers down the line. but these starting figures are mlt tier lmao.
Patience is a virtue.
You've already made investments, so STEM is just a different kind of investment.
Do you really need those shekels asap, anon?

Just because you can't afford to 'waste your time' with hobbies, doesn't mean others can't.
They're much more well off than you, financially and/or emotionally.

You must hate the fact that 'hippies' like me have found happiness in a craft and aren't wrapped up in stupid shit like 'muh art career' or 'muh shekels'.
Maybe that's why you're so bitter when you see others having fun playing vidya.
