an hour can actually be a pretty good amount of time.
and if you keep going you'll see opportunities for gaining more time.
one of the most important parts of getting good, maybe the most important, is learning what exactly you want to do and how to best step toward it... that's a simple and vague thing to say, but as tehmeh says in this pic there's a huge amount of depth to the learning process. it takes a lot of personal experimentation and examination, and there are a lot of realizations along the way. it's not really about grinding hours but making relevant discoveries, which is a pretty personal thing.
which makes me wanna know, what *exactly* do you want to make with your drawing skills?
and during those months when you spent 3-7 hours a day, what kind of practice did you do? what did you draw?
