Depends on what else you wanna do with the iPad, just drawing it'd take you years to fill up even the base 128gb variant but it can fill up very quickly if you put games and other stuff on it. Plus you get iCloud storage on top so you can always shuffle old files to the cloud or a computer if you're running out of space.

As a standalone tablet the ultra is amazing, I recently switched from the S7 FE as well and I can have a whole 6" phone's worth of space dedicated to references on the side while still keeping plenty of actual drawing space. With superdisplay you can connect and use it as a cintiq wirelessly with virtually no latency.
I'd recommend finding a way to see for yourself and compare physically before you buy either though.
