>Nope I don't use /chug/ or any general anymore for that matter, but you were bound to see things when stuff happened I suppose.
well that was disappointing here I thought my shizo gut feeling would amount to something only for it to turn into a nothingburger.
>I try to steer clear of convoluted layer workflows and other post-processing tricks like in those tutorials filled with 3D graphics jargon you sometimes see floating around. Just as I I'd like to draw directly, I would also like to paint directly... However you'd call the digital manifestation of Alla Prima.
layerfagging can help a lot in regards to smaller things especially when you want to draw something extra or try something interesting in regards to anatomy without ruining the original linework the problem is like all tools people use layers as a crutch to hide shit art and mistakes it's the exact same thing with AI slop students use ChatGTP as a substitute for there own brains and end up learning nothing in the end that's why despite switching over to digi i still love trad.
>Opacity/flow dynamics will never, ever, compare to the way wet paint should in real life. Anything slightly transparent short of an airbrush always appears as if it were dry-on-dry with that disgusting overlapping edge if you know what I mean
I had that problem when i was using Clip studio before I switched to krita it's still there but to a much lesser extent the built in brushes are just better.
also nothing can compare to feeling of dragging your pen&brush across a piece of paper feeling everything perfectly and being able to adjust your strokes instinctively on demand even just hearing the sound of crosshatching is like music to my ears.
still it's much easer to post my work like pic online using digi that's why I switched since i don't have a scanner and my phone's camera quality is shit.

alright finally finished I'm not good at explaining so I'll keep it short.
the two biggest points you need to work on is.
>1. the hands and arms they need to be bigger and more dynamic when sketching out arms and legs try going for more curved construction lines rather boxes and cylinders.
>the right leg looks misaligned it should follow a shape that moves to the body near the crotch instead of splaying out.
