I can do fine with line weight whenever I do trad art, it's just that it feels wrong when I draw digitally. Doesn't matter what I do with the settings, it feels like I get way too much variation in line weight unless I just totally turn it off

I want cool art friends I can do drawpiles and stuff with on the weekends, but all my friends have 0 aspirations at worst and at best they're musicfags. I feel like though when you try to make friends purely based on "haha we both draw" it just leads to nothing. I've realized most artists aren't really similar, so I've stopped trying to make friends with people purely because they also draw, but fuck I wish I could get lucky and just click with someone like that who just happened to be as passionate or more about drawing as I am, but was also into other stuff I like so our friendship isn't entirely based upon both drawing

I've realized if I keep working for other people I'll NEVER have time to accomplish all the things I want to learn and do. I'm wasting 8 hours of my day (10 hours if you count getting ready and commuting) on someone else's agenda. I'm scared though to go off on my own. I don't know how to build an audience, or how I would make enough money to survive, but I've kinda accepted already I have to do it. I'm a militaryfag and have 3 years left in my contract to prep
