Anime has always been about same faces. Basic faces with no special features make designs both inoffensive and easy to produce and consistantly.
Like the same faces of south park, dragon ball, card captor, or sailor moon.

If you truly cared about having more blacks you'd stop shitposting, git gud, and make your own series with an all black cast that always talk about how black they are
