These are Hampton gestures I did awhile back, the Marvel gestures were significantly easier so I don't think I need to show you to prove I did it (my phone is full).
Nicolaides told me that gestures are supposed to be ugly (if they look good you're doing it wrong) so I decided not to get autistic with it.

If you could give me some guidelines on gesture I will appreciate it, like a list of things to consider for example.
In this pic I did gesture then erased them and redid them while copying Hampton's style. Is this a bad way to learn gesture?

I'm not OP. I'm doing gestures, please critique. I overcame carpal tunnel by switching to overhand grip, but I can't use digital or normal grip anymore.

Redid my gestures while looking at Hampton examples. Feels like I'm getting better at gestures but not at drawing. What am I doing wrong?
