A for effort, but are you doing a five value exercise or are you just making a painting?
If it's the former, there's no way you could've squinted properly and still got this much detail in.
Squint, zoom out or both until all detail becomes unrecognizable and draw the big blobby shapes of value. Make it read just like the reference and you're on the right track.
