Apologies for the craptastic photos.

I see some improvement - in 2010 and 2011, I basically had no concept of figure drawing, perspective, form or really anything, and even when I observed (ex all those headshots were drawn during different bus trips), it was still pretty shit.

Now, I can freehand figures and stylized faces (even though the examples here are pretty crap), I'm fairly solid on simple perspective drawing, and understand what's *wrong* with pieces I do. My line work is way cleaner than ever before.

I'm my own road block to some dramatic improvement - which, I know it's seriously egotistical, but I'm sure I'm capable of - instead of finishing my sketches or doing full portraits/figure drawings/landscapes. I usually just end up flooding the page with doodles, it's an awful habit. I'm too unfocused, even now, and I really should focus less on *finishing* sketchbooks and doodling every little tiny idea that strikes my fancy, and doing real studies in anatomy, perspective and form.

Not only that, but I should draw more full paintings/sketches of things I want to draw - fantasyt drawings, cartoons, superheroes, y'know, fun stuff. I basically side line those to cartoonish little doodles and never finish them as full, post worthy pictures.

I dunno, what do you think, /ic/? Am I right?
