I draw more guys than girls because I like pretty boys and I want more art them them that isn't pure fujoshit.
I feel girls are just more marketable nowadays , since I think a lot of people on social media want to see art that is pretty/cute or sexy rather than something "cool" or handsome. I also feel like it basically creates a feedback loop, where artists see everyone around them drawing girls, so they are given more inspiration to draw girls. Whereas if an artist wants to try drawing guys, they have a bit smaller of a base to work off of.
I think many straight girls are good at attractive women because they're constantly surrounded by images of attractive women to draw from as reference. There's not quite as much handsome guy art out there for straight men to draw off of in the mainstream, you basically have to seek it out specifically.
