So for portrait drawings and drawing the head in general I seem to find that mapping the eye socket helps tremendously however when it comes to an expression that brings the skin above the eyelid down or if a character has skin that hangs over the eye that's not easy like an epicanthic fold does this method still work easily? Should I view it more as a gesture for the eyebrow rather than the socket how would you guys think about it if you were to draw an angry or squinting person?
