You are deluded because english is not your primary language. Trust me, mine's portuguese. Everything I say in english sounds like something Shakespeare himself would write. This is bullshit, of course. The delusion is fueled by your competence on a new language. Which is nice in and of itself, but doesn't make you the next Bukowski... writing is not only knowing lots of different words. It's tougher than you think. Well I don't know either, so we're in the same grounds here.

I thought that I was good, today I know that I'm absolute shit! Yeah, I could write some nice poems and short stories here and there, but there were people out there who were spetacularly better! I'm only 15% of what I thought I was... which doesn't mean you can't get better. I just chose drawing at that point. Now I'm humbled that I actually SUCK ASS at something and can FINALLY empathize with people having trouble on activities I found easy. Think about this shit...
