I looked up what contrapposto means but am still unsure of what it means, maybe try looking at big bodybuilders? Some of their proportions match your image, at least for the waist up, and they do a variety of poses when performing.

Thanks brother! Looks like I need to be more cautious with the distance between the rib and the pelvis. My hand was also just fucked up lol, I tried to replicate it with my own hand and it looked exactly like yours. Time for some hand studies.
