I read that twitter thread. Dumbass doomposters crying about how this is the first step towards the death of human artists is the funniest shit ever.

The demand for human artists will literally never die out. There is intrinsic value in a piece made by a human that an AI will never be able to possess -- the amount of time that the artist has to master their skills and the fact that it was made by a human being and not an algorithm. The vast majority of humans have that inherent bias and will to do so.

AI art is just another emerging area of art and will most likely have its own place in the future, but I imagine it will still get bashed and hazed years from now by other artists since it's the new kid on the block. It's the same shit that's been happening with contemporary art right now.
