genuine question but why do these coomer statues seem so much less vulgar? It's arguably the most erotic one in the thread but it still feels like high art. Is it the just skill involved or the pose or what?

Any advice to keep your persona anonymous when starting a new NSFW account? Any shit I should be careful of? Best payment method?

So I'm pretty /beg/, I want to master the basics of perspective and simple shapes to finally move and start learning anatomy. I read Perspective Made Easy so I know the theory basics, now what kind of exercises should I do to master these concepts? Also, when constructing the human form I see people doing it free hand, what exercises should I do to master simple shapes and move them freely in space?

>In the 1950s, Hunter S. Thompson, then working at Time Magazine, used a typewriter to copy down The Great Gatsby, as well as Ernest Hemingway’s A Farewell to Arms, in order to learn about the writing styles of the authors and feel what writing a great novel was like.
>He transcribed The Great Gatsby. All of it.

If I copy and entire doujin panel by panel, would that help me to learn how to write manga?

>they'll give you input on what they want and how you should change things if it isn't to their liking, but that's not a critique

But that exactly is a critique.

Why don't we try asking some good/succesful artists a question and post the result here?

The main problem with /ic/ is that it's full of shitters and the anonymity gives every opinion the same weight. That's why is also so hard to find something people here agree on.

Having a good artist help us just a bit might really make the difference. Of course, ask them something really important, not just some small shit.

Of course, majority of them won't even respond, but if we try with lots I'm sure someone will respond. Then we will post it here as a resource for other troubled d/ic/ks
