Yes. No shame in starting over. You're obviously struggling with blending and shading, and anatomy. And, stop thinking of flesh as "beige and black". Use dark hues for shadows - you're working from a photo, so it will be harder to see the actual colors in the skin, so crank the saturation up on a copy of the reference, and look at the actual hues in the skin.
Look at this painting. I got to spend many hours studying it, when it was on display at the Met in NYC. That skin has very little black in it, it's all purples and violets and blues and greens and crimsons. It's fascinating. Look for color in skin, the body will reflect different colors across the body. Use darker hues for darker areas, not black. Black is rare in nature - but not in photography.

Mostly, this is above your skill grade, but with work you'll get there. Keep working on anatomy and color. Stop using black. We're artists, we GET to use any color we want, and black is just ugly and flat in a piece like this.
