another more fluid example, note how after the beginning sequence, and she turns away, the feet are still on the ground and never lift, but swinging the hips out requires counter-compensation for balance: one foot lifts up to stand on the toes with a bent knee while the other stays flat and the leg locked, and they change rapidly depending on which way the hips dip
fighting games are great at show casing "movement at rest"
animators work hard to make idle and one-off animations in those games feel lively despite little movement
plus, you get to see lots of toned butts :v)
