ya know, usually when people give you advice about just "draw" there doing it for two reasons

If someones getting into art freshly if you tell them just do studys and understand form there gonna hate it, find art boring, and have a hard time picking up that hobby.

Second, When people say draw they expect the people who just draw to critically think and figure out whats wrong with there drawings and what to improve on, and its true you shouldn't be spending 8 hours on a study and you should be shitting out fast 30 min drawings for your studys then apply it to a actual work.

You might be like the 5% that wants to step straight in to studying so you can make really good pieces, who knows i don't care. but when someone says "just draw" it means be a big boy and look at what u did fucked up and fix it not keep mindlessly drawing
