I really love this! You managed to put the detail in the right places. The only problem I have with this is the whole outlining thing that you're doing. I don't think you need to outline the whole silhouette with a homogenous outline. You even went more subtle with it on his head which kind of fucks with the focus of the image. You probably know this but I'd say the hierarchy with line thickness is something like:

1. Things that are close
2. Things that are heavy
3. Things that are of importance
4. Things that are in front of something (lines intersecting lines behind)
5. etc.

The rules don't have to be what I wrote but you need some cohesion in your stuff. Anyways: 9/10. Really nice!

^I hope you guys are fucking kidding. The overpaint is pretty bad (they made a valid point though) but so is the original. Facial anatomy is pretty fucked up even though it's from the easiest possible angle and probably from reference. A lot of texture with really bad/minimal value construction. Really bad control over the colors and ambient light... I could go on.

I don't hate the original, I'm just amazed at how much you boys are willing to suck cock because you love a mediocre TV-show (I guess, or maybe you're all just fucking incompetent and stupid or maybe all these comments are from OP?). I do like the textures he got in dat burnt umbra shit on the neck.

Aaaanyways, what are you going for with this piece? I think it's pretty clear that you want us to evaluate this as a character concept but you might want to tell us what this is supposed to be first. I don't really like the design overall. Looks like you're doing an outfit for a musical for children or something(?). The lizard elements could be incorporated better into the design and the shading looks like you've just watched Sinix's new video on losing edges in shadows (amirite?) but you didn't really get what he was talking about.
