Thanks for this. Honestly I stopped doing comics and full illustrations when I realized I suck, and ever since "training before I can draw" has been, theres no way around it, unsatisfying.
I will start doing shitty finished pieces instead that are exactly for the purpose I want. Let me promise this so I will have something to hold on to.

When I think about it maybe this doubting/learning phase hasnt been for nothing either. I will definitely start again with better "preparations" and methods.

I've been out of doing digital art for a few years now and was wondering if its still a good one or if any better painting programs have surfaced since then.
