I go to an art school and a thing in common with most of the female students I met compared to males is that they have no fucking ambitions or projects and that reflects on what they draw. A lot of them have been drawing all their lives and fear or don't want to get out of their comfort zone at all, and as a result stagnate or regress. I see girls drawing homestuck doodles, fan art, yaoi-ish things, animals and whatnot, filling sketchbook upon sketchbook with their stuff, but it's all the same thing, a bunch of nothing, and when you ask them what they want to do later, most of the time its

And there's nothing wrong with that... But meanwhile a lot of the male students have retarded projects and chew more than they can bite, I've seen some of these fags make phenomenal progress drawing all the time because they want to become a comic artist, get hired by Pixar, concept artist or go work in Japan or whatever, they have a clearer goal and vision of what they want to achieve.

tl;dr I feel like a lot of girls are too insecure or not ambitious enough compared to men in art when they have no reason to.
