>one day, guy from class approaches, says he saw my works. eagerly proposes that we make a manga
>fascinated about him, i decide to see where this goes.
>got rejected by university publisher. hit him hard, tiring nights were for nothing. i kind of expected it though. guy becomes friend.
>midyear, finally acknowledge i need proper studies, start loomis heads
>friend still clinging to drawing manga as soon as possible, asks for my help again. my loomis knowledge manifests in my drawings
>he didn't submit the manga, realize his drawings are lacking
>friend decides to be better than me, i disregard it. 'not in a decade' i think

Sorry for the blog friends. That rival of mine is pretty much my only source of excitement nowadays; he's determined and all. I've accepted the fact that the two of us are practically nobodies in the world of art. But I could at least serve as the boss he needs to defeat before he enters the world stage.
