My room's not dissimilar from yours in terms of layout, pic related is what it's currently laid out like. I don't like it a whole lot but it at least gives me some form of protection from others barging in through my door (I know your pain all too well).

I'd love a different setup myself that'd give me more working area, this desk's literally a couple cut up shitty laminated ikea wood, but the room's layout doesn't leave a whole lot of options open.
