Today was a hard day in terms of willpower. I'm definitely starting to burn out.

Anyways, today I worked on some more eyes, and decided to finish off by doing some more Bargue plates this time focusing on the mouth and nose. Unfortunately I didn't realize that I did not choose very efficient Bargue plates for the mouth as the mouth I am using for reference is a 3/4 view while Bargue's were mostly profile. What I managed to retrieve from the Bargue plates is that the lines of the lips are only drawn on hard edges as well as the inner lines of the lip, I also learned that Bargue in particular has a style of drawing curves with straight lines and then applying the curves on top of that.

Either way I went ahead and finished off the day with the bottom piece which was taken from a reference posted a while ago here >>3193813

I ended up following his approach, I didn't do a pass over to define the curves though as I wanted to keep my lines as clean as possible to ensure that I capture the "essence". This was a real endurance run as I compared many points in an attempt to follow the reference as closely as possible. Towards the end, around the nose, my endurance began to run out and I started eye-balling placement and forces pieces to connect.

Critique and advice is highly appreciated this time around because, aside from the plates, I only drew the one piece at the bottom using a reference.
