Here is an example of what I am talking about. I take my realistic eye and simplify it down to graphic shapes. So even though the final result looks simple, it still has all the understanding behind it. Then I show you a face rotated into 3/4 view. Even though it looks simple, my understanding of the planes/anatomy of the face comes into play without you seeing it.
