i think you guys are looking too deeply at the anime art style as a whole
this is supposed to be a actual black character with dreadlocks and she looks the same as every other character
while i do believe the style is derived from how asians look, i dont think the japanese look this hard into racial differences in the more moe shit anymore since the style is so exaggerated
