I did a lot of simple "abstract" crap in highschool, drawing thousands of squares, dead trees, stuff like that that wasn't drawing per say, I never took art classes but did some graphic design stuff in highschool, then I've just done random drawings every once and a while, usually pointalism landscapes which I think I'm actually quite good at, but I want to do webcomics so I need to learn to quickly draw humans well and I can hardly make a line. I started taking it seriously about a month ago though using the sticky and have been working on drawabox.com exercises, I try to put in an hour atleast a day but skip some, and spend a lot more time on others. The sticky helped a fuckkkkkk ton, just reshaping my ideas of what drawing is and how to think and go about it. however when I try draw from imagination I find myself dipping into a lot of bad habits. An anon told me before to stay the fuck away from anatomy because I'm far from it and I know what they mean now.
>Pic related was Oct 4th using a lot of drawabox techniques. (rushed middle right and gave up towards the right)
