Make more threads, watch more tutorials, download every brush you can, be obsessed with what other people are drawing, argue about talent, but whatever you do DO NOT actually draw.

I'm sorry, bros, someone had to let the secret out. Pic related, my work.

Vaaanzzz has clearly got a style going and it works well for what hes doing. His perspective/isometric work is great and I really like he put the full figure in one of them, even though it was shockingly not Vaaanzz proportions, what the hell man? (It was an assignment). He could do with some value studies on his figures and work on the subtle value shifts rounding his forms to make transition into coloured work alot easier; His work could desperately benefit from some colour. He could keep it grayscale to really just focus on the shifting planes of the forms and really shorten the amount of time needed since he seems to be in school. That's not to say his anatomy couldn't use more work, but I'm confident its on his mind and he's working on it consistently already.

Some of your digital linework is particularly nice, Vaaanzz. I'd like to see when your work goes a lot further, hopefully you're still posting by then.

Depth: You may notice that your drawing looks a little flat, right? The lines you've made don't describe the forms they're on. One of the things that I cant help but notice is the eye. The biggest thins about predators is that their eyes are frontward facing, what you've drawn almost flattens the eye making it look like prey. This is why I saved this for last and would be THE most difficult to explain without visuals.

From what I can see you are struggling with form; seeing 'through' an object and seeing what shapes really make it up. This is where drawing WILL get boring, but we all didn't come out of the womb running marathons. Forget details, shading, light and all that until you have a firm grasp on form. I'm going to link you some videos (Which is found in the Sticky, by the way.), while it is digital, it all applies to traditional.

First, specifically what I was talking about:

While you are your own being, I wish to recommend sticking with "2) Traditional Drawing" and "3) Drawing two" for a few months. Dabble in the other sections here and there, but put you focus there. Don't just do the assignments and think you're done, apply it to everything. I wish you luck and DETERMINATION!
