The board is indeed in decline and has been for years now, because posters don't want to uphold any quality or care to actually do anything besides "networking", circlejerking or discussing internal drama.

Most threads and most posts are bait, and this thread might just be another bait as well, but i'll use it as an excuse to point out some things that need pointing out.

I wouldn't say generals itself are the problem, it's the anons.
Everyone seems out for blood to delete anything they do not like while whining when someone else does the same to them and never care to read or use their brains but once they see a tangible target, they're all over it.

Generals are always full of drama, especially the fujotranny and oc thread and this has to do with things that happen outside the board.
They rarely, if ever critique anything, they only orbit certain anons and if anyone dares to not

which is pretty much anything that isn't brownnosing; The thread degenerates into trying to show the "wrong thinker" how bigger their dick is.
Even conversations mostly boil down to wanting to add each other on social media or getting the attention of someone with higher numbers, instead of actually discussing anything.
Mind you, they all do this things, while they are all on the same discord server, which makes you think they do this on purpose to generate drama and play social games, rather than actually draw and discuss drawing.
