good day beg, finished part 1. i messed up the hand length on the marie but whatever, its not like the rest of the figures are proportional either.

you level up accuracy and observation every time you draw from reference. there is no magic trick to it except using various sighting techniques, plumbing, leveling, proportions... just draw (a lot)

i am doing bargue right now and honestly its the worst art book i have ever seen. first it vomits all condensed theory in first few pages and then its just endless catalogue of references with messed up numbering and the skill curve isnt even consistent. it shows heavily its supposed to be complimentary to art tutor leading you through it. i wouldnt recc it over good stuff like keys to drawing
