Theres a thing called the hurdle of taste.
Your taste is telling you that you suck, because you have higher standarts than your own skills.
Thats what everyone has to face and overcome.

Fact is your writing abilities are 50% shit you simply read and 50% experience actually writing.
Before you actually start doing something, shit wont change. Once you actually start accumulating experience "where to start" wont be a question anymore.

TL;DR: You gotta force yourself to overcome the hurdle from no-skill to beginner, and you turn into a beginner when you actually begin.
