Finally some good criticism, thank you.
I've been using the generic line => clip and paint process from when i began learning how to draw so it's kinda hard to relearn to whole thing in painterly style over again. Gonna take a few months off to do small studies instead of doing big one.
So her process is loosely line to a character to get the basic feel first => paint over and define the lighting => start building all the details from there. Do i get it right?
>There are a lot of lines here that look unsure-- they look more like 2nd or 3rd iteration of sketch in quality. You may be zoomed in too far while drawing.
This is a little confusing, do you mind explaining further?

Hey /ic/, so the computer I have now is entering its final stages and I'm planning on buying a new one soon so I thought I'd ask about it here.

I'm not tech savvy, so I'm not sure what I should be on the lookout for, my plan is to have digital art be the primary focus of my new computer, the one I have right now is a gaming rig so while I understand there's some overlap, I'm sure there are different things I can buy to optimize a computer for art and 3D software.

Thanks in advance!
