- gaussian blur reference image before attempting trace
- 3D modeling software your friend >>3374788 (Blender, WIngs 3D, etc.))
-3D posing software is also your friend (Designdoll, Poser, not DAZ, etc..)
- photobashing is bad
- photobashing a new reference then tracing or painting over it completely is not bad
- using 3D posing software to make a pose, then photobash over it, then tracing or painting over it completely isnot bad
- getting a reference image of a pose, then loosely replicating that pose with 3D posing software, then photobashing over it, then tracing or painting over it completely is not bad
- getting a reference image of a pose, gaussian bluring it, then loosely replicating that pose with 3D posing software, then photobashing over it, then another gaussian blur, then tracing or painting over it completely is not bad
- loomis and other /ic/ meme books are references, not tutorials.
- Start immediately, studying fundamentals along the way.
- Never ever tell yourself or let others tell you that fundies are required before you even make a single line on canvas
- You will learn perspectives eventually or make reference guides out of basic shapes with 3D modeling software

- I cannot stress this enough... gaussian blur reference image before attempting trace
