I could post a million examples and not a single one of you will even go "well, those sure do seem to be crazy wild coincidences." or "You know, there does seem to be a recent trend or theme going on."

You've been told to lie to me. Again and again and again. It's suppose to frustrate me, make me feel alone. Really, it just validates the weirdness.

So basically I'm new to art, I've never drawn people seriously before and I've come across this kind of style that is in a spot between realistic and cartoonish, it really interests me and I'm wondering if there's some kind of process that I have to go through to learn how to draw like this? I kinda tried today, but I think the clean lineart made it look too cartoony, and I'm still figuring out the eyebrows and the hair since I don't think you can get the same look on digital. Here's some examples of the style I wanna recreate.
