I've said this before but
west is good for wholesome shit
east is good for sexy

both can do either, but if, both sides tries to do wholesome then west wins (vice versa with east doing sexy shit). the problem is that the west doesn't take advantage of its strengths.

like pic related's story is crap (its some sjw shit where Sups beats up KKK people) but I think the artwork is nice though. But when you go against anime which have both good story and art, west loses in this. Just make a story that's universal/human that anyone can understand, and maybe they can finally sell their comics instead of being force-fed political bullshit that no one cares about.
