PS: I think there's a lot more drama than needed because people feel they are in a hostile environment, where you're the only one new on Discord and everyone else is a circlejerk.

I felt like that on my first round, but talking to my group I found out that most of them were also lost, even though I had the impression they were "in" on the group's memes and all.

That shouldn't stop you from making friends, I for one made some great ones and I WILL DO IT AGAIN, you can't stop me.
