I'm digging it, partially, at least. Lots of neat color variations on the skin which I have no idea how to pull off, but if anything, you gave me a very nice palette to work with.

I'm not quite sure about the lighting in general though. It leans a bit too much towards realism for what's supposed to be a stylised anime drawing. It's still fairly flat and pillowy, and some of the shading is pretty nonsensical (like the left arm, for example) with no definitive light source. I'd like to have harsher and more clearly defined directional lighting like I showed here >>3304087

Still, I'm really glad that at least one person likes it so much that they'd do a redraw of it. I'll save it and keep what you said in mind. I hope you don't take offense in anything I said here.

The face definitely doesn't work do it for me though. This is actually supposed to be a fanart of Zero Two, which admittedly isn't very obvious due to my very liberal modification of her physical build. Pic related.

I see. Yeah, that makes sense, though it mostly boils down to potential mental problems and not actual technical difficulties. I'll do it the other way around, like you said, on my next piece. What do you think of the shading example I provided?
