Disregard everything you've read so far, and study from Loomis. Do not listen to the disinfo shills who discredit Loomis, they're trying to thin the heard by eliminating potential competition by steering you away from Loomis. You need to study from Loomis it's an invaluable source of knowledge and good draftsmanship that will teach you the fundamentals behind figure drawing. Gentlemen, how do we fix /i/?

Im not trying to go against loomis, but recently, ive been questioning the point of learning realism. Its just, so many people know how to do realism, that, what could you possible bring new to the table? The same is with the anime style, so many people have perfected the style that whats the point?

I always think about how shows like beavis and butthead and south park were done by people who knew jack shit how to draw, yet... their style is more indentifiable than 99% of /ic/.

Im aware of the >muh style meme. But, isnt there some sort of truth to it when things like the shows i mentioned above do have a indistinguishable style? And i bet it gets more complicated for shows like samurai jack, where the style is so against the fundies, yet require so much skill to perfect.

Just want to hear /ic/'s opinion on it.
