There's something I find really off-putting about Ryan Jia's work. It's like it's technically skilled and so cleanly executed to the point where it comes off as soulless.

His use of complimentary colours makes his art stand out but apart from that, I find his work to be very bland and uninspired. Perhaps it's the repeating subject choice. Drawing pretty girls in fantasy clothing is tired at this point.
