Pros: His use of darks, great contrast between darks and lights - really reminds you you're looking at a painting. It's also nice seeing some art in pure black and white (though some color would be nice). Good brush economy on the focal point, though backgrounds and objects/other characters in the foreground could be cleaned up better. As other anons have pointed out the bleak atmosphere in his work is also really appealing.

Cons: It's obvious his libido drives his art. Not a fan personally, but if that hinders his progress then it's something to be careful about. If he were to observe how the Old Masters (especially Caravaggio, Rubens, Raphael, and Bouguereau) portrayed the nude female form compared to the pornographer - he would learn how to really express true, higher beauty.
